What is a Vacuum Cleaner Turbo Brush?

Posted by Michael Sansom on

A vacuum turbo brush ( also known as a turbo head, turbo tool, turbo, nozzle, air-driven brush or turbo attachment) will give your vacuum cleaner extra cleaning power. It is designed to give a more deeper clean than a standard tool. A turbo brush contains a rotating brush to lift and beat your carpet or fabric as you vacuum. The rotating brush in a turbo brush is air-driven and relies on the suction power of the vacuum to keep rotating. The more powerful your vacuum the faster and more effective the turbo brush.

Turbocat

The Turbocat vacuum heads are a turbo brush powered by the suction of your vacuum cleaner. These are our top of the range vacuum turbo heads and are our most powerful air-driven turbo brushes.

Vacuum powerhead

A vacuum power head has a rotating brush like a turbo brush however the rotating brush powered by an electric motor and requires a 240 volt power lead. A quality power head will perform better then a turbo brush however these are normally heavier than a turbo brush.
