Purchasing, Shipping and Refund Policies and Information

14 Day Money Back Guarantee
In the event you are required to return a product within the first 14 days upon receipt of the items initial contact must be made within that 14 days. Parts can not be returned if they have been used to test a product or tried to be fitted or are marked or damaged in any way. They must be in ‘as new’ condition, in the original packaging and are subject to the discretion of Central Outlet. Exlusions to this 14 day Money Back Guarantee include power units, heater elements and appliances. All returns will be refunded within 5 business days less the postage and handling fee. After 14 days your order will be assumed satisfactory and requests for returns or exchanges may not be accepted. A restocking fee of 20% of the original purchase price may be applied after the 14 days. We will not accept goods that have been returned without prior approval from Central Outlet. All unapproved returns will be refused and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

All products we supply are brand new unless otherwise stated.

Warranty
Products purchased from Central Outlet are backed by a Manufacturer’s warranty (Conditions apply) unless otherwise stated and shall be warranted by the manufacturer to the extent stated by the manufacturer. It is the Customer’s responsibility to establish the warranty relationship with the manufacturer by ensuring that warranty cards or other registration requirements of the manufacturer of any product supplied by Central Outlet are complied with.

Purchasing
When purchasing online please ensure you understand the product, whether it suits your needs and whether you will require installation. Installation is additional to any of your online purchases. Any personal details will not be sold to third parties. Credit card information (if taken over the phone) will be kept for 30 days and then destroyed.

All pictures and specifications shown on our website are guides only and are subject to change without notice due to manufacturer improvements.

Postage and handling
One postage and handling charge will be charged per delivery. Our postage and handling charges include the actual postage costs, packaging materials, warehouse costs, postage insurance and handling of the product. Central Outlet charges a calculated postage and handling fee based on weight and location. The rate will be worked out automatically after you enter your shipping address. If the shipping calculator malfunctions or you choose an incorrect option we will contact you for extra payment before sending the goods or you can choose a full refund. Central Outlet uses a Courier service or Australia Post to ship throughout Australia. Purchases are only sent when payment is received in full. If an item is returned to us because you had entered an incorrect address then a returned item fee of $10 and a re-delivery fee will be charged to send the item to you again.

Dispatch and Delivery Time
We process all orders received up to 12 noon QLD time, on our normal operating days. You will receive an automatic email advising that your order has been received. If a product/s are out of stock we will notify you via email of such and provide an estimated delivery date. You will have the option to wait, receive a refund for the order or to swap the item for an alternative. You will receive an automatic email advising when your order is dispatched. We dispatch products every business day. Your goods will be shipped from Brisbane, Australia and normally takes 2-10 business days but may take longer if there are postal delays. Please allow up to 20 days for overseas delivery. You will receive a tracking number via email (if applicable). All product prices and delivery charges quoted on this site are for Australia only.

Refunds

Privacy
Information collected during your purchase is confidential between the purchaser and Central Outlet except as may be required by law. We will not disclose any of the personal information collected by us.

Mains powered fixed wiring parts
Some items on our website, such as 240v replacement vacuum motors, lights, fans, 240v circuit boards, elements and thermostats are required to be installed or replaced by a licensed electrician.

Making a claim
To make a warranty claim, You must notify us in writing of any claim under this warranty within the warranty period. You must notify us within Seven (7) days of the fault developing. Proof of original purchase, the original invoice number and a detailed fault description must be presented when making a claim. Your notification must be emailed to us at sales@centraloutlet.com.au. Claims on products which are required to be installed by a licensed electrician must be accompanied by a copy of the test certificate supplied by the installing electrician. You must bear your own expenses incurred by you in making a claim under this warranty including postage costs to return the item to us. We must be contacted to arrange a return. The product should be returned to Central Outlet. We will not accept goods that have been returned without prior approval from Central Outlet. All unapproved returns will be refused and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense. Photographic proof is required of damaged items.

Items damaged in transport
For goods damaged or dead on arrival please contact Central Outlet via phone or email on sales@centraloutlet.com.au immediately and provide a detailed description of the issue. To make a claim, You must notify us in writing of any claim within 48 hours of delivery. Photographic proof is required of damaged items next to their packaging. We will contact you once we have all the information with the outcome of your request and provide further instructions.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
Central Outlet reserves the right to:
Determine whether to provide a customer with a credit, repair or replacement item as appropriate;
Apply a re-stocking fee of up to 20% of the original purchase price;
Assess the condition and age of the returned goods (including its packaging) prior to authorising a credit, repair or replacement;
Refuse a credit, repair or replacement under certain circumstances.
